Each card can be played to indicate your location on the ship (i.e. where you are) or an action (what you're doing). Each turn, you play one card, and then, once everyone has finished, the game reverses and goes backward, and you play the second card for whatever you didn't pick the first time. So, you always have a location and an action.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe alien's location is then revealed. If you share that location and have the highest priority number, you're dead. If a crew member's action kills you, you're dead. In fact, death happens quite quickly in this game — and ten minutes later, you're all playing again.
