How to play 7 Wonders Duel

Game Setup

  • Each player receives a "city" or "wonder" board and an erasable marker.
  • Place the dice in the "launch zone."
  • Prepare the score sheets or individual scoreboards for each player.
  • Decide on the number of rounds or the objective to reach for the game.

Gameplay outline

  • All players simultaneously roll the dice.
  • Each player uses the results to fill in spaces on their sheet: resources, scientific symbols, buildings, or commercial advancements.
  • It is possible to use certain dice combinations to trigger effects: building a wonder stage, acquiring a "bonus" card, or interacting with neighboring cities.
  • Each turn, choices are quick: which area to fill, which symbol to exploit, which effect to trigger.
  • The game continues until the end condition is met (number of turns or objective completed).

Win/Loss Condition

  • Once the game is over, each player tallies: the symbols collected (science, commerce, resources), the wonder stages completed, the bonuses obtained.
  • The player with the highest scorewins the game.
  • In case of a tie, completed wonder stages or remaining scientific symbols are compared as a tie-breaking criterion.
