How to play Bloops?

Game Setup

  1. Shuffle the 65 cardsof the game.
  2. Deal 6 cards face down to each player.
  3. Each player can only look at half of their cardsat the beginning, immediately putting your memory to the test.

Gameplay outline

  • In turn, a player draws a card or plays with those already in front of them.
  • They can swap, add, or discard cards... often without looking at them.
  • Certain cards trigger special effects that allow players to spy, disrupt, or trade with other players.
  • A counter-discard mechanic allows multiple players to get rid of identical cards at the same time.
  • As the game progresses, cards move, information is lost, and memory becomes increasingly uncertain.
  • At any time, a player can attempt to end the round by announcing "Bloops!".

  • Victory: The player with the lowest score(the cumulative value of their remaining cards) wins the game.
