How to play Brass Birmingham?
Game Setup
The board representing the Birmingham region is placed in the center of the table. Each player receives a personal board, industry tiles, and an income marker. Essential resources—coal, iron, and beer—are placed on the board.
Each player also receives 8 cards, which indicate the cities or types of industries they can build during the game.
The game takes place over two historical eras:
- the canal
- erathe railway

In turn, a player performs two actionsfrom several strategic possibilities:
- Buildan industry (spinning mill, coal mine, steel mill, manufactory, pottery, or brewery)
- Create a linkby building a canal or a railway to expand their network
