Concept Kids Animals is a cooperative children's game that encourages youngsters to communicate differently through images and associations of ideas. Inspired by the famous Concept, this simplified version abandons complex words in favor of animals and accessible visual clues. Players must collaborate to find the right animal using only pictograms and illustrated characteristics. Easy to understand, quick to set up, and ideal for sharing a family moment, Concept Kids Animals develops observation, language, and imagination while having fun.

How to play Concept Kids Animals?
Game Setup
- Set up the board with pictograms representing different characteristics such as color, habitat, size, or specific physical features.
- Then prepare the Animal cards and choose the difficulty level appropriate for the players. A card is drawn secretly to start the round.
Gameplay outline
- A player discreetly observes the animal indicated on their card, then tries to have it guessed without speaking.
- To do this, they place rings and cubes on the board to indicate different characteristics of the animal being sought. The other players then analyze the visual clues to propose their answers.
- Each new clue refines the possibilities until the group identifies the correct animal.
- The game is entirely cooperative: everyone shares their ideas and progresses together through the rounds.
- The cards offer several levels to support children in their discovery of associative reasoning.
Win/Loss Condition
- The game ends when the group has found a certain number of animals, depending on the chosen mode.
- The objective is not only to win but also to progressively improve the understanding of the pictograms and the quality of the clues given.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Always start with the most visible characteristics
Size, color, or habitat often quickly eliminate several possibilities.
-
Use multiple complementary clues
Combining different pictograms makes answers clearer and avoids overly broad interpretations.
-
Encourage children to explain their reasoning
Verbalizing associations helps to better understand choices and develops observation skills.
