In Cup the Crab, hermit crabs scuttle across the beach to build their homes from abandoned cups. This card and stacking game blends hand management, timing, and tactical moves to collect the best cup stacks. Players collaborate to create shared stacks… but competition remains fierce when it comes to claiming them at the right moment. Fast-paced, clever, and full of twists, Cup the Crab offers dynamic games where bluffing and opportunism make all the difference.

How to play Cup The Crab?
Game Setup
Each player starts with a set of cards consisting of 14 Cup cards, 3 Crab cards, 2 Octopus cards, and 2 Bottle cards. Common piles of cups will be built in the center of the table during the game.
The game is played in 7 rounds, during which each player secretly selects three cardsthat they will use during the turn.
Gameplay outline
In each round, players reveal and play their cards to create or expand stacks of cupsin the center of the table.
- The Cup cardsallow players to increase the value of a stack.
- The Crab cardsare used to take a stack and convert it into points.
- The Bottle cardscan disrupt a stack and complicate other players' actions.
- The Octopus cardsnotably allow interaction with bottles and can resolve certain situations.
Timing is crucial: strengthening a stack can make it more appealing… but also attract your opponents' covetousness.
Win/Loss Condition
At the end of the 7 rounds, players count the collected cup cards.
The player who has built the most luxurious crab house, meaning the highest value of cups, wins the game.
