Cyberpunk TCG is an official competitive collectible card game set in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Developed in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, it invites you to build your own team of edgerunners, complete dangerous missions, and confront your rival to become a true legend of Night City. How to play the Cyberpunk TCG?
Game Setup
- Each player builds their own deck before the game by selecting their cards according to the game's building rules.
- Players also have dice representing the Gigs(missions) of Night City. These are the main objective of the game and will be at the heart of the confrontations.
Gameplay outline
- In each round, players gradually develop their team.
- They recruit Units, equip their characters with Gear, use Programsto gain an advantage, and send their fighters to complete or defend Gigs.
- Throughout the game, players aim to control as many missions as possible. Battles not only allow them to defend their own Gigs but also to steal those of their opponent to accelerate their progress towards victory.
- Power increases progressively: the greater your reputation, the more powerful cards and abilities you gain access to. This constant evolution forces players to continually adapt their strategy and carefully choose when to deploy their best resources.
- Deck building also plays a crucial role. The many available cards allow for the creation of very different strategies, centered on certain factions, iconic characters, or card combinations.
Win/Loss Condition
There are two ways to win:
- start your turn controlling at least 7 Gigs;
- or automatically win the game if your opponent has to draw when their deck is empty.
In Overtime, as soon as a player controls the majority of Gigs, they immediately win the game.
