How to play Decrypto Laser Drive?
Game Setup
This extension requires the base game Decrypto.
Before you begin:
- Add the Drive cards (categories)to the game materials.
- Place the Laser tokensand Interception tokenswithin reach of the players.
- The classic Decrypto rules remain unchanged.
The extension integrates easily without making setup more complicated.
Gameplay outline
The core gameplay remains the same, but a new constraint is added:
- In each round, a category is imposedvia a Drive card.
- The Encryptor must give their clues while respecting this constraint (at least one clue must be related).
- If all three clues respect the category, the team earns a Laser token.
- These tokens allow players to attempt to guess an opponent's keyword to gain a decisive advantage.
This mechanic adds a significant strategic layer:
