How to play Dixit Journey?
Game Setup
This expansion requires the base game Dixitor Dixit Odyssey.
- Mix the 84 Journey cardswith those of the base game.
- Deal the cards as in a classic game.
- No changes to the rules: integration is immediate.
All Dixit expansions can be combined with each other to enrich the experience.
Gameplay outline
The gameplay remains the same as Dixit:
- One player becomes the storyteller.
- They give a clue inspired by their card (word, phrase, reference…).
- The other players choose a card corresponding to this clue.
- The cards are shuffled and revealed.
- Players try to find the storyteller's card.
With Journey, the illustrations are distinguished by:
