How to play Dixit Kids?
Game Setup
- Shuffle the illustrated cardsand deal 6 to each player.
- Place the votingtokens (numbers or symbols) in front of each player.
- Choose one player to be the Storyteller(the one who makes up the description for the round).
Gameplay outline
- The Storytellersecretly chooses one of their cards and gives a word, phrase, or sound based on the imagewithout showing it to anyone.
- Each other player selects the card from their hand that best matches the Storyteller's description and places it face down.
- All selected cards are shuffled and then revealed.
- Players then vote for the card they think belongs to the Storyteller.
- Correct deductions and votes earn points for each round.
Win/Loss Condition
- Winning: At the end of a set number of rounds (or when the draw pile is empty), the player with the most correct vote pointswins the game.
- Losing: Players do not have a strict losing condition; the goal is to develop imagination and mutual understanding rather than losing.
