How to play DJ Set?

Game Setup

  • Settle into teams (or as individual players) — the game is played with 3 to 16 people(or more, depending on your equipment).
  • Take out the playlist cards, score cards, and game rules.
  • Each player or team takes a device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to scan a QR codethat links to a thematic playlist.

Gameplay outline

  1. Theme launch: choose a playlist card that corresponds to a theme (colors, professions, first names, cities, creatures, etc.).
  2. Music & deduction: a song starts from the playlist. Players listen carefully to identify the hidden theme: this can be in the lyrics, the title, the band, or even the atmosphere of the song.
  3. Answer & point: whoever guesses correctly wins a point for their team and becomes the "DJ" for the next round. The DJ then starts the next song.
  4. Repeat until exhaustion or until you decide to stop (playlists are numerous and varied).

Win/Loss Condition

  • The game is designed for quick rounds, lasting around 20 minutes.
  • The winner is the team or player with the most pointsat the end of the session, based on correct theme deductions.
