Dossiers Criminels is a series of cooperative investigations consisting of multiple elements: maps, brochures, photos, and many other documents will be at your disposal to solve this case. Here, you will be tasked with solving the murder of Christophe Cannette, a famous TV series actor. Use your powers of deduction to solve this case.
How do you play a game from the Criminal Case collection?
Game Setup
- Open the folder box and place all documents (testimonials, journals, village map, etc.) on the table.
- Make sure you have internet access ready for the digital phases (investigation website or blog)?
- Together, define a working system (task distribution, document reading, note-taking) and prepare to meet the challenge.
Gameplay outline
- First steps: review all available clues without opening the sealed envelopes.
- Solve the proposed puzzles to unlock the four envelopes: each contains new evidence essential to the rest of the investigation.
- Use online access to consult additional resources (blog, credentials to hack, dedicated website) and avoid getting stuck.
- Gather the elements, cross-reference testimonies, establish a timeline, identify suspects, and rule out false leads.
Win/Loss Condition
- Once all the evidence has been collected and the four envelopes opened, answer the final questions in the file.
- If your team can formulate a theory consistent with the collected evidence, the case is solved.
- Conversely, an incomplete or incorrect theory will result in defeat: the mystery remains unsolved.
