How to Play Echoes: The Ring?
Game Setup
- Each player embodies an investigator capable of perceiving "echoes of the past," sounds linked to objects.
- Place the 6 chapter start tiles in the center of the table.
- Prepare the object cards (only a portion at the beginning; the others will be revealed later).
- Download the free dedicated app to scan the cards and listen to the audio clues.
Gameplay outline
- Players scan cards with the app to hear sounds, dialogues, or ambiences.
- Each card corresponds to a fragment of the story that needs to be carefully analyzed.
- Players must match the cards to the correct tiles to reconstruct coherent chapters (1 tile + 3 cards).
- Once the matches are made, they check their combination via the app.
- New cards are then revealed, allowing the investigation to continue.
- Once all chapters are reconstructed, players must put the complete story in the correct chronological order.
