Dive into an immersive audio investigation where your senses must unravel the mysteries of a forgotten medallion on a small Greek island. With "Le Médaillon," embark on the Echoes series for a moment of suspense, deduction, and listening, between reality and imagination.
How to Play Echoes: The Medallion?
Game Setup
Prepare the required app or audio: the game includes recordings to listen to in order to guide the investigation.
Shuffle the "Item" cards (18 cards) and the "Chapter Start Item" tiles (6 tiles) according to the rules.
Place the score sheet and distribute the rules to all players.
Gameplay outline
Listen to the sounds and dialogues associated with the objects you've found on the quest island (Greek island, visions...): this is your source of clues.
Each card represents an object or tile found on site: cross-reference the information heard and seen to place the events in chronological order.
Working cooperatively, players discuss what they have perceived—objects, sounds, visions—to reconstruct the amulet's story and unravel the "oracle's" visions.
Win/Loss Condition
At the end of the listening and analysis phase, you must be able to formulate the correct timeline and understand what actually happened. There is no such thing as "defeat" as such: the challenge is to successfully complete the investigation together. Failure simply means not having found the right answer or having missed certain clues.

Listen before you look at the cards
Sound and dialogue are key: before jumping into the maps, take 30 seconds to listen and immerse yourself in the atmosphere and audio cues. This will strengthen your intuition.

Note the keywords heard
When you hear a word, a name, a place, quickly write it down: often the clue is subtle (a boat name, an engine noise, a cry for help). Keeping track helps you correctly connect the maps.

Talk amongst yourselves from the get-go
Even silently, change your perspective or words. This collaborative phase prevents you from getting stuck on a single suspect or object. The earlier you debate, the more likely you are to avoid a false timeline.
