Endeavor: Deep Seas is a contemporary strategy game where you embody the director of an oceanographic research institute in search of underwater discoveries and positive impact on marine ecosystems. Inheriting the system from Endeavor: Age of Sail, this title offers refined mechanics of team management, modular exploration, and varied mission objectives. Thanks to scenarios playable in competitive, cooperative, or solo mode, each game offers a renewed challenge and deep immersion in the marine world.

How to Play Endeavor: Deep Oceans?
Game Setup
- Select one of the double-sided scenariosand prepare its setup according to the objectives and special rules.
- Each player chooses a personal boardrepresenting their institute and takes their coordination, inspiration, specialistmarkers and their team leader pawn.
- Place the Ocean tilesface down and reveal a grid of them to determine the areas to explore.
- Shuffle the Review, Objective, and Reversal cards, place the Impacttokens and submersibles within everyone's reach.
Gameplay outline
The game consists of seven rounds. In each round, players:
- Recruit a specialistbased on their reputation level.
- Distribute and collect discsaccording to their inspiration and coordination levels.
- Activate their specialists in turn, by placing a disc on each one to perform available actions:
- Move submersiblesto explore new Ocean tiles.
- Use sonarto discover unexplored areas.
- Diveto obtain research icons.
- Spend research to publish in scientific journals, perform conservation actions, or promote specialists.
- The Ocean tilesreveal discoveries, opportunities, or challenges that influence access to resources, research areas, and mission objectives.
Win/Loss Condition
- Victory: At the end of the planned rounds, each player tallies their victory pointsobtained through:
- Progress on the domain's attribute tracks.
- Accumulated positive impact on the oceans.
- Publications in scientific journals.
- Mission objectives and senior specialist rewards.
- Unused resources at the end of the game.
- The player with the highest total scorewins the game. - Cooperative and Solo Modes: Scenarios include global objectivesto achieve. Players collectively win or lose depending on whether they validate these objectives within the allotted time.
