The result of a clever mix of observation, reflexes, and loads of fun, this family game is perfect for all ages. In a flash, get ready to ring the bell and collect as many cards as possible!

How to play Halli Galli?
Game Setup
- Place the bell in the center of the table.
- Shuffle the 56 cards and deal them face down among all players, with each player forming a face-down pile of cards in front of them.
- The player to the dealer's left starts.
Gameplay outline
- In turn, each player flips over the top card of their deck and places it face up on their discard pile in front of them.
- As soon asexactly five identical fruitsare visible among all the face-up cards, all players must try to be the fastest to ring the bell.
- The player who rings first wins all the face-up cards (including those they just played) and places them face down under their deck. They then restart the game.
Win/Loss Condition
A player loses when they have no cards left in their face-down pile and no more cards to turn over.
The game ends when one player has collected all the cards, or when only one player is left with cards. The player with themost cardsis declared the winner.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Above all, develop your reflexes
In Halli Galli, victory often depends on how quickly you ring the bell. Train your eyes to spot the fruit and anticipate the exact moment there are five of them to become the fastest player.
-
Don't necessarily aim for the first shot.
Sometimes, waiting a split second to confirm there are five identical fruits prevents you from ringing by mistake – and incurring the penalty of giving a card to each opponent.
-
Adapt your strategy according to the number of players
With 2 players, the pace is very fast and every mistake is costly. With 6 players, there are more opportunities to buzz in, but it's often more chaotic. Adapt your tempo and keep a cool head.
