Embark on new thrilling races with Heat: Tunnel Vision, the second expansion for the popular game Heat. You will get two new tracks: Spain with dark and dangerous tunnels, and the Netherlands with a long straight and tight turns. Add daring upgrade cards and an extra player for even more intense and strategic rounds.
How to Play Heat: Tunnel Vision?
Game Setup
- Place the double-sided board of the two new tracks (Spanish GP and Dutch GP).
- Shuffle the new Heat, Stress, Event, and "Front Wing" Upgrade cards.
- Add the new race car, gear stick, and dashboard provided in the expansion.
- If combined with the Heavy Rain expansion, the game can accommodate up to 8 players.
Gameplay outline
- Races play out as in Heat: gear selection, card play, managing overheating, accelerating, and cooling down.
- “Tunnel” Rule: when your car enters a tunnel (on the Spanish circuit), you cannot discard cards from your hand, making every decision even more critical.
- The new “Front Wing” cards allow for strategic maneuvers to overtake or catch up to opposing cars.
- Added events simulate the 1965 season: weather, track hazards, opportunities, etc.
Win/Loss Condition
- The goal is still to finish first on the chosen circuit.
- In Championship mode, new events and the "Front Wing" mechanic add strategic depth.
- Poor management of "overheating" can penalize you: the tunnel increases this risk, as you cannot discard when you are in it.

Manage your speed carefully in tunnels
The Spanish tunnel changes the game: don't underestimate the difficulty of discarding cards. Plan your actions in anticipation of these "no discard" moments.

Use the front wing at the right time
"Front Wing" cards are ideal for catching up to opponents or for exiting a turn strongly. Save them for key moments when you can strategically overtake.

Yes, Heat: Tunnel Vision does not work as a standalone game: you must own the base game Heat: Pedal to the Metal.
What new circuits are being added?
Two tracks: the Spanish Grand Prix (with dark tunnels) and the Dutch Grand Prix (with technical turns and a long straightaway).
What are "tunnel rules"?
When your racer is in a tunnel, you cannot discard cards from your hand during this phase.
Do these new circuits add a lot of complexity to the game?
