How to play?

Game Setup

Open the game envelope, which contains all the investigation elements: documents, clues, fingerprints, and an investigation poster.

Prepare your computer or phone: some leads will require you to access online resources or listen to audio testimonies.

Place the investigation poster on a table or wall to record your hypotheses, alibis, and evidence.

Gameplay outline

Explore all the documents at your disposal: letters, reports, fingerprints, audio testimonies... Every detail counts.

Use your phones to listen to witness audio tracks or simulate phone calls that will lead you to new clues.

Discuss with your teammates: share your discoveries, compare your hypotheses, and build a coherent scenario together.

Note everything on the investigation poster: who had a motive, what contradictions appear, what evidence overlaps.

Win/Loss Condition

You win if you successfully solve the four central questions of the investigation: the identity of the culprit, the motive, and the outcome of the drama.

If you miss evidence or misinterpret clues, you risk making a misjudgment — but the investigation offers an immersive experience without a strict "game over": the important thing is to reach a logical conclusion.

The typical duration is approximately90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your pace and problem-solving method.

  • Take the time to read everything

Each document may contain crucial details. Don't skim over the clues: make yourself read carefully so you don't miss anything.

  • Use your phone smartly

The audio tracks and phone calls aren't just for show: they contain valuable information. Put on your headphones, take notes, and replay the recordings if necessary.

  • Organize your findings visually

Use the poster as a dashboard: alibis, suspects, evidence, contradictions — everything must be tracked. This will help you spot connections between clues and make clear progress.
