A prestigious jewel has disappeared from the museum during a secret meeting, and your mission is to discover the truth: who stole it, why, and why was an object left in its place?
This cooperative investigation game combines paper documents, digital tools (calls, websites) and deduction, for total immersion in a refined mystery. Perfect for playing alone or with others (up to 6), lasting 2 to 3 hours.
How to play?
Game Setup
Open the investigation envelope: it contains files, letters, written, and visual evidence.
Equip yourself with one or more phones or computers: online elements (websites, testimonies) are to be consulted during the investigation.
Take paper and pens to note down your hypotheses, alibis, evidence, and contradictions, using the provided investigation poster.
Gameplay outline
Players examine documents, analyze written evidence, and cross-reference alibis to build a coherent picture of the case.
The investigation also involves digital elements: listening to recordings, visiting fictitious sites mentioned in the clues, or simulating communications.
Participants collaborate to formulate hypotheses, discuss possible motives, and reconstruct the timeline of events.
Your progress is visualized on a detective board, which serves as a dashboard to organize your findings and structure your thoughts.
Win/Loss Condition
You win if you manage to answer the essential questions: who stole the tiara, what was the motive, and why was the stolen item replaced?
There's no permanent "game over": if your deduction is incorrect, you can compare it to the official solution via the Hidden Games website to discover the truth.
Gameplay time is around 2 to 3 hours, depending on your investigation method.
