How to play Hitster?

Game Setup

  • Each player receives a first card to start their musical timeline.
  • Download the Hitster app and connect a smartphone to Spotify to play the songs.
  • Place the draw pile of cards in the center of the table.
  • Designate one player to scan cards and manage the music.

Gameplay outline

  • A player scans a card to launch a music clip via the application.
  • The active player must place the song before or after those already present in their timeline.
  • If they wish, they can also try to give the title and artist to earn bonuses.
  • Other players can pick up cards if a mistake is made.
  • Difficulty increases throughout the game as the timeline grows.

Win/Loss Condition

The first player to correctly complete a timeline of 10 songs wins the game and becomes the ultimate Hitster.
