How to play Goosebumps?
Game Setup
Shuffle the Role cards and deal one to each player. One participant secretly becomes the Satanoie, while the others embody innocent investigators. A crime scene composed of two Goose cards is revealed only to the first player in the chain.
Gameplay outline
The first player memorizes the scene and then mimes it to the next player. The latter then reproduces what they understood to the next participant, and so on until the last player. Like a game of telephone, the scene evolves with each interpretation.
The Satanoie takes advantage of its hidden role to deliberately alter certain details and sow confusion. Once the mime reaches the last player, they must identify the elements of the original scene. If the re-enactment is incorrect, all eyes turn to the possible traitor.
Win/Loss Condition
The innocent players win the game if they correctly identify the Satanoie or if the scene is faithfully re-enacted. The Satanoie wins if they manage to manipulate the mime enough to escape suspicion and derail the investigation.
