Immerse yourself in a whirlwind of creativity and imagination with Imagine — a party game that puts your inventiveness to the test. Using transparent cards, you'll have to make others guess movies, places, objects, characters... without words, without classic mimes, only through visual art.
Overlap, assemble, combine — or even animate — pictograms to convey an idea in an original way. Imagine combines lightness, fun, and creative challenge for friendly evenings full of surprises.

How do you play Imagine?
Game Setup
- Take out the 61 transparent cards(symbols, shapes, pictograms), the stack of Enigma cards, and the score tokens.
- Arrange the transparent cards face up in a circle or spread them out on the table for easy use. The tokens remain within everyone's reach.
Gameplay outline
- On your turn, draw a Mystery card. Another player chooses a mystery number from the card—this is the one you need to get them to guess.
- Use the transparent cards as you wish: layer them, assemble them, combine them, or animate them (move, rotate, juxtapose, etc.) to visually represent the mystery. No drawing, no words, no finger miming—only visual imagination.
- The other players propose answers based on what they see. The first one to guess correctly—and the "creator"—score a point.
- You continue taking turns until all the mysteries are exhausted or until you decide to stop the game. Generally, a game lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
Win/Loss Condition
- Each correct guess—guessed by a player—earns one point for the guesser and the player who provided the riddle.
- At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, you are free to decide on a tie-breaking system or to play an extra round.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Use few elements to be relevant
Don't try to represent everything: a simple overlay of two or three cards is often enough to convey an idea. Too many elements can confuse your teammates.
-
Playing on contrasts and recognizable shapes
Use cards with marked shapes (silhouettes, easily identifiable objects), play on formal contrasts or superposition to evoke a concept or object more quickly.
-
Remain imaginative and daring — dare to try abstract combinations
Sometimes, it's not the object itself but an idea, a concept, an atmosphere — dare to use abstract representations: an angle, an overlay, a movement — to surprise and guide towards the right answer.
FAQ – All About Imagine
What exactly is Imagine?
Imagine is a creative party game where players guess riddles (films, places, objects, characters, etc.) using transparent cards that can be overlaid, combined, or animated — without words or drawing.
What type of party is Imagine ideal for?
It works very well for an evening with friends or family — for 3 or more players —, and for groups of up to 8 players. Ideal for relaxed moments, laughter, visual bluffing, and creative exchanges.
Do you need to know how to draw or be an artist to play?
Not at all — the game doesn't require any drawing or traditional mime skills. The goal is to make others guess using the transparent cards and your imagination.
Why is Imagine different from other party games?
Because it relies on visual creativityrather than drawing or charades: each round is original, the answers are not guessed like classic charades, and the material — transparent cards — opens up an infinite field of combinations and diversions.
