Dive into a fun and colorful party game with Imagine Famille — the "family games" version of the famous Imagine.
Using transparent cards, you'll have to guess or make others guess animals, objects, professions, characters... without words, drawings, or writing, only through your visual imagination. Overlay, assemble, or animate the transparencies to express ideas: a game that blends creativity, camaraderie, and good humor, ideal for both young and old.

How to play Imagine Family?
Game Setup
- Take out the 60 transparent cards, the 120 "Riddle" cards, the score tokens, the game board, and the rulebook.
- Shuffle the Riddle cards and form three decks with the "Clue" side visible. Place the transparent cards around the board, and the tokens within players' reach.
Gameplay outline
- In turn, choose a Riddle pack, draw the first card, announce the clue (theme, keyword, etc.) aloud — the clue helps guide the type of word to be guessed.
- Look at the 5 possible words on the back, choose one of them (often an "easy" word for younger players, or a more difficult word to make the game harder). Use the transparent cards tovisually representthat word: place them, overlap them, combine them — or even animate them (change their position, move them...) — without speaking, without sound effects, without using letters or numbers.
- The other players (or the team) try to guess what you are making them guess. The first to give the correct answer scores a point, and the "creator" also gets a point.
- The transparent cards are put back in the circle, new cards are drawn if needed, then it's the next player's turn. You play until you decide — a game generally lasts 15 to 30 minutes.
Win/Loss Condition
The player (or team) with the most points at the end of the game – i.e., the one who most often correctly guessed or had their word guessed – wins the game.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Promote clear and high-contrast maps
For everyone to understand, use slides with marked shapes or colors—a simple element can sometimes suffice to suggest an idea; it's more effective than overloading the composition.
-
Choosing the right words for your group

-
Choosing the right words for your group
Take advantage of the "easy word" card for younger players, and vary the levels according to the players — this keeps the game accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
