How to play Ink?
Game Setup
- Each player starts with their personal board. The Ink tiles are shuffled and the “drafting wheel” is set up in the center.
- Prepare the ink bottles (corresponding tokens), starting tiles, and bonus action spaces
Gameplay outline
- In turn, you move your “quill” around the drafting wheel to choose an Ink tile—this wheel selection system involves anticipation, observation of opponents' choices, and strategy.
- You place the tile on your board, so as to create or extend areas of the same color. When these areas reach a certain size, you can "pour ink": this triggers strategic bonus actions.
- You continue by drafting and placing tiles, combining placements and managing your inkwells, until a player meets the victory condition.
Win/Loss Condition
The goal is to be the first to place all your ink bottlesor to have optimized your placements and bonuses to be in the lead at the final count.
