Interactions – Nature sans pitié (Nature Without Mercy) is a tile-laying and strategy game where each placement alters the balance of the territory. Inspired by real-world species relationships, this game offers fast-paced tactical confrontations where every decision can turn the tide in seconds. Behind its very accessible rules lies a clever system of interactions and tile flipping that requires observation, anticipation, and opportunism. Compact, dynamic, and deeply strategic, Interactions transforms nature into a true battlefield.

How to play Interactions?
Game Setup
- Each player receives a set of tiles representing different natural interactions.
- A first tile is placed to create the common territory, then each player prepares their game reserve. The tiles have two sides with different values, which immediately creates tactical choices on when to reveal or flip certain effects.
Gameplay outline
- In turn, a player performs a single action: placing a tile on the territory.
- However, this placement can trigger a chain reaction. Depending on the symbols present and the orientation of adjacent tiles, some are flipped, changing their value or effect. Each decision thus directly influences the points gained… but also those potentially lost by opponents.
- The game relies on a subtle balance between territory expansion, board reading, and anticipating future flips.
- Turns remain quick, but each placement opens up new strategic possibilities until the end of the game.
Win/Loss Condition
- When all players have only one tile left in front of them, each player adds up the values of the tiles played and then applies any bonuses linked to the remaining visible faces.
- The player with the most points wins the game and asserts their influence over the territory.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Plan your reversals several turns in advance
Initial placement matters less than the reactions it will subsequently provoke.
-
Use both sides of your tiles
Each tile represents several possibilities: always keep a fallback option.
-
Watch for blocking opportunities
Preventing an opponent's comeback can sometimes be more rewarding than scoring directly.
