Bravest is a family strategy game where players participate in a legendary tournament in the Celestial Archipelago. Playing as powerful Legendary Figures, you must guide your champions — the Braves — through a course filled with trials and challenges. Thanks to a clever tile-placement and path-building system, every decision influences your heroes' journey and the number of points they can earn. Accessible from the very first games but rich in tactical choices, Bravest offers a successful blend of reflection, anticipation, and optimization.

How to play Bravest?
Game Setup
Each player receives a personal boardrepresenting their adventure terrain, as well as two Brave figures: the Agile and the Invincible. The Challenge tiles are placed in the center of the table and will be progressively chosen during the game.
The central board also serves as a score trackand a selection area for the available tiles.
Gameplay outline
Players take turns selecting a tile and placing it on their board to build a double trial course. The goal is to create two optimized paths for your Braves.
Each hero has their specialty:
- The Agilescores points by facing certain creatures or obstacles.
- The Invincibleearns points by traversing dangerous locations and different challenges.
As tiles are placed, the course is built and scoring opportunities emerge. Players must consider how their two heroes will traverse these paths to maximize their points.
Once the board is entirely filled with tiles, the Braves travel their route and points are tallied.
Win/Loss Condition
Once the routes are completed, players calculate the points earned by their two Braves based on the challenges encountered.
The player with the most prestige pointswins the tournament and becomes the new Legend of the Archipelago.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Building complementary pathways
The two Braves don't score points in the same way. Try to create paths that leverage their respective specialties.
-
Anticipate the final route
Each tile placed influences the heroes' final path. From the beginning, consider the general direction of your paths to avoid blockages.
-
Monitor scoring opportunities
Certain tile combinations can be very high-scoring. Identifying these synergies helps to create a more profitable path.
