How to play La Famiglia?
Game Setup
Set up the board representing the different city districts, then place the control markers and each clan's units on their starting locations. Each player chooses a mafia clan and receives their set of Action cards, Influence tokens, and starting resources. Verify that all elements are correctly configured before starting the game.
Gameplay outline
The game takes place over game rounds, where each player takes actions to expand their influence, weaken their rivals, or strengthen their positions in key districts. Actions include deploying henchmen, setting up rackets, bribing officials, and negotiating temporary alliances. Action cards offer special abilities and unique tactical opportunities to each clan. Rounds continue until an end-game condition is met.
Win/Loss Condition
Victory is awarded to the player who achieves their clan's specific objectives, such as controlling the most districts, accumulating resources, or executing secret missions revealed during the game. Some variants offer alternative conditions or additional scoring modes to renew the experience.
