How to Play Let's Summon Demons?
Game Setup
To begin a game of Let’s Summon Demons, place the game components in the center of the table: the 42 Soul Tokens, the 100 Neighborhood Cards, the 20 Demon Cards, the 5 Candle Cards and the 2 Evil Dice. Each player chooses a personal space for their summoning area. Shuffle the Neighborhood Cards to form a draw pile accessible to all. Ensure that each player has a space to collect their Souls and Demon Cards.
Gameplay outline
Each turn, players roll the evil dice and activate cards in their summoning zone corresponding to the results obtained. These activations allow players to collect Souls, recruit cards from the Neighborhood (children, animals, etc.), and create effective combinations. Recruited Neighborhood cards can then be sacrificed to summon more powerful Demons. Each action is a strategic decision: progressing too quickly can cost resources, too slowly can allow your opponents to gain an advantage.
Win/Loss Condition
The game ends as soon as a player has successfully summoned three Demons and accumulated at least 10 Souls in their reserve. The first player to meet both conditions becomes the grand demon summoner and wins the game.
