How do you play the game?
Game Setup
Place the grid of 16 cards representing land animals on the island in front of you. Also, place the two cards representing marine animals around the grid: these will not be eaten or moved, but can be used strategically. No other players are present: you face the challenge solo.
Gameplay outline
In each turn, you select a land animal that can eat one of its adjacent neighbors (vertically or horizontally). For an animal to eat its prey, the prey must have a lower point value. Once an animal has eaten prey, you move the cards and potentially activate its special power if it has one, which influences future movements. Every decision must be carefully considered, as any mistake can lead to premature blocking.
Win/Loss Condition
The game ends when no more moves are possible. To win, three or fewer animalsmust remain on the island after the last moves: your goal is to reduce the wildlife to its essential elements by mastering the food chain in this living puzzle.
