Living Forest

Set up the game board depicting a mysterious forest and place the components around it: resource tokens (water, leaves, etc.), fire tiles, spirit cards, and forest companions. Each player chooses a color and takes their corresponding pawns, as well as a set of starting tokens to begin the game.

Next, prepare the central forest with the corresponding cards and place the fire ready to advance. The goal is to work both on exploring the forest and saving it before it is reduced to ashes.

In each round, players place their pawns on different areas of the forest to collect resources, add cards to their hand, or interact with nature spirits. Some areas allow players to acquire water to fight the flames, while others attract new companions with special abilities.

Players can then use their resources to extinguish fires, move faster through the forest, or gain bonus cards. The cards obtained offer various powers, including slowing the progression of the fire or boosting your future actions.

As the fire spreads, tension increases and choices become more crucial. Every decision counts: fighting the fire immediately can be vital, but exploring and gaining long-term resources can prove decisive for winning.

The game ends as soon as the fire has completely consumed the forest or when the last turn is played. Players score victory points based on the area of forest still intact, the spirits you have helped join your cause, and personal objectives achieved. The player with the most points at the end is crowned Supreme Guardian of the Forest.
