How to play LOL - Qui Rit Sort?
Game Setup
- Take out the box and set up the buzzer, tokens, and yellow/red cards.
- Shuffle the cards (read-alouds, group challenges, duels).
- Choose a player to be the "timekeeper." They will start the game (duration: approximately 20 minutes).
Gameplay outline
- The timekeeper starts the hourglass or timer (20 min).
- In turn, a player draws a card and performs the action: reading aloud, group challenge, or duel.
- If a player laughs during their turn or as a result of one of the challenges, opponents can buzz: the player who laughed receives a yellow or red card according to the rules.
- In parallel, when a player provokes an opponent's laughter, they win a "laughter" token.
The game continues until time runs out.
Win/Loss Condition
- Winner: The person who has accumulated the most "laughter" tokens by the end of the timer.
- Loss: A player can lose morale if they have received too many cards, or simply by being "the last one not to laugh." Fun comes first!
- Variant: Progressive elimination of players who laugh too often, until only "the last one standing" remains.
