In this family game by IELLO, you play as skilled buyers who must choose which crops to take while influencing market prices. How to play Veggie Market?
Game Setup
Shuffle the game cards and prepare the central draw pile.
Determine player order.
Place the price cards face up to track the evolution of vegetable values throughout the game.
Gameplay outline
The game consists of 6 quick rounds. In each round:
- Reveal a number of cards equal to the number of players + 1.
- In turn, each player chooses a card and places it face down in their harvest pile.
- The unchosen card influences the market: the vegetables it contains see their price increase — up to a certain threshold before collapsing.
These successive choices require tactics: should you prioritize harvesting or play on price fluctuations?
Win/Loss Condition
After six rounds, the game ends. Each player counts their harvested vegetables and multiplies each type by its corresponding final price. The player with the highest total score wins the game.
This system encourages balancing risk-taking and smart collecting to maximize earnings.
