How to play Mindbug?
Game Setup
Each player receives a deck of creature cards and starts with a certain number of life points. Players also have their Mindbug tokens, used to take control of opponent's creatures. After shuffling the cards, each player draws their starting hand.
Gameplay outline
In turn, a player can either play a creature or attack with a creature already in front of them. Cards have various abilities: special attacks, immediate effects, protections, or control powers.
When a player summons a particularly powerful creature, the opponent can decide to use a Mindbug token to immediately take control of it. This mechanic completely changes the game's dynamic, as players must constantly think about the right moment to play their best cards.
Battles follow one another rapidly, and creature effects create numerous tactical interactions. Players must manage their resources, anticipate opponent responses, and avoid wasting their key cards too early in the game.
Win/Loss Condition
A player wins the game when they reduce their opponent's health points to zero using their creatures' attacks.
