Behind accessible rules lies true tactical depth, combining hand management, clever combinations, and perfect timing. Rounds follow each other at high speed, creating dynamic and addictive games. Awarded the As d'Or Game of the Year 2025, Odin appeals to both families and experienced players.

How to play the game Odin?
Game Setup
Shuffle the 54 cards, numbered 1 to 9 and divided into several suits, then deal them to the players. Each participant forms their starting hand. The goal is to get rid of all your cards before the other players.
Gameplay outline
In turn, a player lays down a combination of cards based on their value or suit, attempting to outdo or circumvent previous combinations. Other players must respond intelligently with their own hands. Some cards you pick up may strengthen your hand and alter your options for the rest of the game.
The pace is fast: you need to know when to attack, when to bide your time, or when to hold onto your best cards for the decisive moment.
Win/Loss Condition
The first player to discard all their cards wins the round. Depending on the scoring mode, other players accumulate penalty points. After several rounds, the player with the best total becomes the Champion of Valhalla.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Save your best hands for the right moment
Don't play your strong cards too early. Keeping them often allows you to turn a round around at the end of the game.
-
Observe the colors already used
Keeping track of which cards have already been played helps you anticipate what your opponents still have.
-
Discard your hand intelligently
Aim for several effective poses in a row rather than playing card by card without an overall plan.
