How to play the Orapa Mine game?
Game Setup
At the beginning of the game, one player takes on the role of Mine Director and secretly places their gems on their board, following the setup rules. The other players are explorers and use a deduction sheet to note their observations. In a two-player game, each player hides their own gems and simultaneously attempts to discover their opponent's.
Gameplay outline
Explorers take turns choosing an entry point on the edge of the mine to send a wave across the board. Depending on the gems encountered, this wave can change direction, bounce, or change color before exiting the mine. The Director only announces the exit point and the final color of the signal. With this information, players progressively develop their hypotheses and refine their map of the mine until they identify the exact position of all the gems.
Win/Loss Condition
The first player to correctly locate all the hidden gems immediately wins the game. To succeed, you'll need to interpret each clue accurately, eliminate false leads, and build a logical deduction faster than your competitors.
