With Osmosis, test your chemistry and communication skills in a unique idea-association game!
At the start of the round, several Mission cards and Idea cards (images or words) are revealed. Together, you must choose a mission and find the Idea cards that correspond to it. But be careful: you can discuss the connections and associations, but never explicitly identify a card! The whole subtlety lies in the art of suggesting without telling... and hoping that your teammates have understood the same thing as you.
The goal is simple: match the same Idea cards as your partners to succeed in the common mission. The game is played in 3 rounds: succeed in at least two to prove that you are in perfect osmosis!
Accessible and full of twists and turns, Osmosis is ideal for fans of communication games, idea association, and original cooperation.

How to play Osmos?
Game Setup
- At the beginning of each round, several Mission cards are revealed, along with a set of Idea cards consisting of illustrations or words.
- The group collectively chooses a mission to accomplish from those offered. Depending on the chosen difficulty, missions require creating simple or more complex associations between the available cards. The game offers several difficulty levels and different modes to evolve the experience.
Gameplay outline
- Each round unfolds in three stages.
- First, players discuss freely... but with one essential rule: it is forbidden to say anything that directly identifies a card. You must talk about connections, feelings, possible associations without ever clearly naming the elements concerned.
- Then, each player secretly selects the cards they believe correspond to the chosen mission.
- Finally, everyone reveals their choices simultaneously.
- If a majority of players have envisioned exactly the same combination, the round is won. Otherwise, they will need to understand each other better in the next round. A full game consists of three rounds and requires winning at least two of them.
Win/Loss Condition
- The team wins the game if it wins the majority of the planned rounds.
- The difficulty naturally increases throughout the game as certain possibilities gradually disappear and players must refine their communication methods.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Look for universal rather than personal connections
An association that seems obvious to you is not necessarily obvious to the rest of the group.
-
Talk about relationships and never about objects
Describing the logic between multiple elements often works better than trying to circumvent prohibitions.
-
Build your own language as you play
After a few rounds, the group naturally develops communication habits that become very powerful.
