Rigor Mortis, the Dark Lord, furious, casts a sideways glance at his goblin servants, cowering in fear. Once again, his brilliant evil plan has been foiled. Someone must pay for this fiasco. You'll have to be quick-witted and ready with a smooth alibi to avoid the Dark Lord's wrath. But each of you, wretched servants, is ready to twist the truth, accuse your friends, and use all necessary means to ensure someone else takes the fall!
This game also includes the rules for Yes, Dark Master!, an alternative set of rules for Yes, Dark Lord!
This set contains a new pack of never-before-seen cards with even more zany characters!

How to play Oui, Dark Lord?
Game Setup
- One player becomes the Dark Lord while all others embody their clumsy servants tasked with justifying themselves.
- Deal out the Excuse cards and prepare the blame tokens that will be used to penalize players unable to convince their master.
- As with the Red Box, no complex preparation is necessary: a few minutes are enough before the first accusations begin.
Gameplay outline
- The Dark Lord opens the session by asking what caused the mission's failure.
- The servants must then invent a coherent... or completely ridiculous story to divert suspicion. Using cards played from their hand, they build improvised narratives, introduce unexpected events, and accuse their neighbors to avoid punishment.
- This Green Box stands out with its new cards and situations that are more geared towards quick twists and even more extravagant stories.
- As in the Red Box, the pace of exchanges and players' creativity quickly become more important than the rules themselves.
Win/Loss Condition
- When a player can no longer defend themselves or remains without a credible excuse, they receive a token of blame.
- The first servant to accumulate too much blame officially becomes responsible for the fiasco and loses the game.
- Everyone else survives... until the next mission.
Our Tips for Winning
-
Bounce your story off others'.
In the Green Box, building an absurd continuity often works better than completely changing versions.
-
Accuse with subtlety
The best accusations are those that seem logical at the moment they appear.
-
Use the new maps to speed up the chaos
This edition further encourages quick turnarounds and target changes.
