Legend has it that a panda, sitting amidst bamboo, chewed leaves with delight and spun around when they were all eaten. Gazing at the starry sky, he felt he had to join the 12 zodiac animals. Thus, "Panda Spin" was born.
The goal of the game is to get rid of your cards faster than the others by winning tricks. But there's a unique twist. If you lose a trick, you can gain an advantage: The cards return to your hand, rotated 180 degrees and stronger.
In this game, the path to victory often lies in the ability to lose the right trick at the right time!

How to play Panda Spin?
Game Setup
- Depending on the number of players, several card decks are selected and then shuffled to form the draw pile for the round.
- Each player receives twelve cards face up to their "classic" side. A Panda token is also set up with one of its two power variants, which allows for renewed games.
Gameplay outline
- The first player opens a trick by playing a combination of cards.
- This can be a single card, a pair, a three-of-a-kind, a straight, a formation, or even a bomb. Other players must respond with a stronger combination of the same type, or decide to pass.
- The originality of Panda Spin comes to light when a player loses a trick.
- Instead of discarding their cards permanently, they pick them back up… after rotating them 180 degrees. Their reverse side then displays new values, sometimes higher, but also new symbols or special abilities that open up other tactical possibilities. This is the famous Spinthat gives the game its name.
- Some cards also have special effects: they can act as a joker, immediately score points, allow other cards to be discarded, or trigger the Panda's power. Therefore, you must carefully choose which tricks you want to win… and sometimes agree to lose them voluntarily to prepare for a more favorable round.
Win/Loss Condition
- A round ends when one player has completely emptied their hand of cards.
- They then score points based on the number of cards remaining in their opponents' hands. Several rounds are played until one player reaches the total number of points required to win the game outright.
Our Tips for Winning

-
Anticipate the back of your cards
Every turn can set up powerful future combinations.
-
Observe the cards that have already been transformed
Your opponents' upgraded cards provide valuable insight into their next potential moves.
