Pigeon Pigeon is a hilarious trivia game. Each team draws a question, then writes the answer in one of the 3 boxes on their sheet.
Next, teammates agree to write 2 false answers to fill the other two boxes. Once this step is complete, the question is asked to the opposing team, providing them with the 3 answer choices.
To answer, the questioned team must bet all of its tokens, distributing them as they wish among the 3 answers. Only correctly placed tokens are recovered, the others are lost! The first team that runs out of tokens loses!
How do you play Pigeon Pigeon?
Game Setup
- Players are divided into two teams.
- Each team receives 16 tokens and draws a card containing an unusual question with its true answer. Hidden from opponents, they then invent two plausible false answers to sow doubt before mixing the three propositions.
Gameplay outline
- In turn, a team reads its question and then presents the three possible answers.
- The opposing team must then bet allits tokens on the answer(s) it believes to be correct. It can divide its tokens among several options if it is unsure.
- Once the bets have been placed, the correct answer is revealed. Tokens placed on the correct answer are kept, while all those bet on incorrect answers are permanently lost.
- The teams then switch roles, and a new round begins with the remaining number of tokens for each. The further the game progresses, the more tense the stakes become, and each error can be fatal.
Win/Loss Condition
- The game continues until one team loses all of its tokens.
- The other team immediately wins.
