In Plan Séquence, you play as a film crew trying to bring order to a chaotic storyboard… without being able to speak. Each player places numbered Scene cards to reconstruct a correct timeline based on visual clues, hoping to align six scenes in the right order.
The challenge: no verbal or gestural communication allowed. You must observe the choices of others and rely on the effects of the cards, which sometimes allow you to exchange scenes or provide valuable information.
A game is played in three acts, with a timeline that lengthens each round. Two deleted scenes allow you to mask your errors, but they are limited: beyond two mistakes, it's the end of the film.

How to play Plan Séquence?
Game Setup
Prepare the scene cards and deal the players' starting hands. A common timeline is set up in the center of the table to progressively accommodate the different scenes of the film. Special cards designed to correct certain errors remain available throughout the game.
Gameplay outline
- Players take turns placing a numbered Scene card into the shared timeline with the objective of recreating the correct order of events from the film.
- The difficulty arises from a key rule: no communication is allowed. Talking, gesturing, or explicitly indicating intentions is impossible. You must interpret your partner's actions and build a common logic over the course of the rounds.
- Some cards have special effects that allow you to move scenes, swap cards, or, more rarely, gain a limited opportunity to share useful information. The game progresses in several acts with increasing difficulty and limited chances for correction.
Win/Loss Condition
Players win the game if they successfully reconstruct the film's timeline before running out of correction attempts. If too many errors accumulate or if the final sequence does not follow the expected order, the editing fails, and the premiere is jeopardized.
