Delve even deeper into the world of Root with this expansion, which adds new factions and unique mechanics.
Discover the Lord of the Hundreds, a tyrant who despises trade but masterfully wields the art of war. He arrives with an army of pillagers ready to wreak havoc in the forest. Conversely, the Keepers in Iron gather knights and artisans in search of precious relics. It's up to you to choose which side to join or fight against.
This expansion also introduces a new mechanic: nomads. These special pawns can strengthen your side, but only if you take care of them. Neglect them, and they will not hesitate to join your opponents.
New monuments enrich the board, bringing more strategy and control over certain clearings.
Finally, the solo mode is enhanced to allow games against multiple automated factions, making your solo games even more varied and stimulating.
