Scythe

Each player chooses a faction and a personal player board that determines their abilities and available actions. Players start with a starting territory, some resources, and a limited number of workers. The central board, representing an alternative Europe, is set up with objectives, encounters, and scoring elements.

• In each round, players select an action row on their personal board. Each action typically consists of an upper section producing an immediate effect and a lower section allowing for sustainable development of their civilization.
• You can harvest resources, move your units, recruit workers, construct buildings, or deploy mechs. Each improvement makes your economic engine more efficient and opens up new strategic possibilities.
• Contrary to appearances, Scythe does not solely reward military confrontation. Territorial expansion, efficient production, action optimization, and popularity management play an essential role in the final score.
• The game progresses until a player fulfills enough objectives to trigger the end of the game.

• The game ends when a player places their sixth star by fulfilling various achievements such as economic development, mecha deployment, combat victories, or completed objectives.
• Players then proceed to the final count, taking into account controlled territories, remaining resources, completed objectives, and especially their popularity level. The player with the most accumulated wealth wins.
