How to Play Smile Life – Luxury Life Extension?
Game Setup
- Requires the base game Smile Life: Place the base game cards in the center.
- Shuffle the 60 cards from the Luxury Life expansionwith the base game cards.
- Then deal the cards to players according to the standard rules of the base game (2 to 6 players).
- Place the shuffled draw pile face down and prepare the play area.
Gameplay outline
Luxury Lifeadds to the usual mechanisms of Smile Life:
- Luxury Life cards introduce new professions, acquisitions, penalties and eventsinspired by the world of show business, the jet set and extreme wealth.
- Players draw and play cards that can increase their smilesscore, their money, or conversely inflict penalties themed around high society.
- This expansion does not change the basic rules but diversifies the possible actions, offering more choices and interactions in your game turns.
Win/Loss Condition
- Victory: As in the base game, the goal is still to accumulate the greatest number of smiles.
- Defeat: The player with fewer smilesat the end of the draw pile or at the chosen end condition loses the game.
- The expansion does not modify the victory system of Smile Life, but increases the possibilities for scoring, comedic turnarounds, and audacious strategiesthanks to the luxurious life theme.
