TTMC 2, "How much do you (re)score yourself?", is the second edition of the famous general knowledge party game: players self-evaluate themselves from 1 to 10 on various topics, before answering questions that are more or less specific depending on their estimate.

This enriched version offers more than 4,000 new questions, "intrepid" cards to spice things up, and an even more interactive format.

It's an ideal game for evenings with friends, family or teams, combining thought, risk-taking and fun.

How to play TTMC 2 – How Many Do You Think You Know?

Game Setup

  1. Take out the game board provided.
  2. Shuffle the 540 cards, each containing multiple questions.
  3. Each player or team receives a pawn, which they place on the starting square of the board.
  4. Decide on the duration of the game: TTMC 2 allows you to choose how long to play, according to your preferences and the number of players.

Gameplay outline

  • In turn, players draw a card and discover a topic(e.g.: "5G", "algebra", "otters", etc.).
  • Each player self-assesseson this topic by choosing a number from 1 to 10, depending on their confidence in their knowledge.
  • Based on the chosen number, the player reads the corresponding question(the higher the number, the more complex the question).
  • If they answer correctly, they will advance that same number of spaceson the board.
  • If they make a mistake, the player stays in placeand does not advance this turn.
  • Some special "intrepid" cards add interaction, challenges, or surprises depending on the category.

Win/Loss Condition

  • The goalis to be the firstto reach the last square on the board by answering correctly.
  • Players must therefore weigh their confidence: betting too high can lead to mistakes, betting too low slows down progress.
  • Realistically self-assess

Be honest about your level: choosing too high a score can lead to questions that are too difficult, but too low a score will slow your progress.

  • Adapt according to themes

Focus on the subjects you master: for more confidential topics, prefer moderate notes, and take risks when you feel comfortable.

  • Play as a team if possible

As a team, you can discuss the self-assessment to better choose your grade and distribute roles: this increases cohesion and the chances of answering well.
