Villainous: Wicked to the Core is a standalone expansion to the popular strategic game Disney Villainous, focusing on embodying iconic villains from the Disney universe and their machiavellian quest to achieve their personal goals while thwarting their opponents. In this version, you take control of Davy Jones (Pirates of the Caribbean) or Tamatoa (Moana), each with their own devious plan to accomplish to become the greatest villain of all time.

How to play Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder?
Game Setup
- Each player chooses a villain(Davy Jones or Tamatoa) with their individual board, special abilities, and specific deck.
- Place your board in front of you with the zone slots(representing the locations associated with your character).
- Shuffle the cards, prepare the power tokens, and place the Fatezone in the center.
- Deal a hand of cards to the players according to each villain's rules.
The provided materials are complete for playing without needing the base game.
Gameplay outline
A game unfolds in alternating turnswhere each player follows the same phase pattern:
- Move their villainto a location on their board.
- Perform a main actionin that location by playing a card from their hand (allies, items, powers), which influences their strategic plan.
- Resolve the Fate action: play a Fate card on an opponent to disrupt their plans (brings heroes against them).
- Rearrange your handof cards.
Each villain pursues a unique objective, different from their opponent's, which corresponds to a victory condition specific to their character. Tactical options include resource management (power), planning combos, and managing Fate cards played by or against you.
Win/Loss Condition
The game ends as soon as a player fulfills the unique victory condition specific to their villain: generally, this involves playing a set of cards or performing certain key actions before the other. For example, one might win by accumulating enough power in strategic sectors while the other must reach a specific threshold or complete a narrative mission. This asymmetrical challengemakes every match different.
