How to Play Visions

Game Setup

Each player receives a hand of cards representing dreams. A river of cards is placed in the center of the table for players to replenish their hands. Scoring and tracking elements (such as Reflections or cubes) are also prepared to follow the game's progress.

Gameplay outline

In turn, a player must play a card from their hand to build or enrich their dreams. Each card can trigger specific effects, such as Echoes that allow for chaining, or Reflections that offer strategic bonuses. Then, the player replenishes their hand by drawing from the river.

Throughout the game, players aim to create coherent combinations between categories and environments to maximize their points.

Win/Loss Condition

The game ends when a player triggers the end of the night (draw pile exhausted or wake-up condition met). Players then tally their points based on the coherence of their dreams and accumulated bonuses. The player with the highest score wins the game.
