Your Favorite Things is an original board game that brilliantly reinterprets the classic trick-taking game by adding a good dose of deduction, psychology, and humor. Here, cards don't have visible values; they represent the tastes, preferences, and sometimes even the aversions of other players.
In each round, you'll have to guess how your opponents have ranked their answers on themes as varied as movies, animals, favorite dishes, or completely zany categories. Each revelation triggers its share of surprises, debates, and laughter.
Accessible while offering genuine strategic choices, Your Favorite Things is the ideal game for groups who enjoy discussing, teasing each other, and discovering that they actually know their loved ones much less than they thought.

How to play Your Favorite Things?
Game Setup
Each player receives the materials needed to create their preference cards. In turn, each player chooses a theme for their neighbor, who secretly lists their five favorite items in order of preference, as well as one item they particularly dislike.
The cards are then shuffled before being returned to the player who chose the theme. This player therefore knows the answers but is completely unaware of their order of preference, which nevertheless determines their value during the game.
Gameplay outline
The game is played in tricks. In each round, all players select a card from their hand and announce its content before playing it.
Once the cards are revealed, their true value is unveiled. The card corresponding to the first choice is generally the strongest, but the card representing the disliked element can create a surprise by beating the best card in certain situations. This rule adds a permanent tactical dimension.
After several tricks, players count the tokens won before starting a new round with new themes and new preferences to guess.
Win/Loss Condition
The game ends after the rounds specified in the rules. The player who has won the most tokens from their tricks becomes the grand winner. To achieve this, you will need to be observant, intuitive, and sometimes willing to take a few risks.

-
Never forget the hated map
The card representing the hated suit has a special power that can disrupt a trick. Always consider this possibility before assuming that a favorite card will automatically win the trick.
