Yubibo is a cooperative dexterity game that is as simple as it is original. The concept is astonishing: players must collectively build an aerial structure by connecting their fingers using small wooden sticks. With each new card, the structure becomes more unstable, and coordination among participants becomes essential. Often described as a true "finger Twister", Yubibo offers fast-paced games, full of laughter and suspense, accessible from 6 years old. Thanks to several game modes, it is suitable for both families and groups of friends.
How to play Yubibo?
Game Setup
- The wooden sticks are placed in the center of the table, as are the Hand cards.
- Each player receives a Player card indicating their color. Depending on the chosen mode (cooperative or challenge), the foam balls are also prepared.
Gameplay outline
- In turn, a player draws a card.
- The card indicates which finger to use and which player is involved. The active player then places a stick between one of their fingers and that of the designated partner. Gradually, a true collective structure takes shape, with each new stick increasing the difficulty and making the whole more unstable.
- Players must communicate, adjust their positions, and remain perfectly still to prevent a stick from falling. The slightest error can cause the entire construction to collapse.
- To vary the games, Yubibo offers several game modes. The Challenge modeadds foam balls that must be delicately placed on the already built structure, further increasing the difficulty and suspense.
Win/Loss Condition
- In cooperative mode, players win the game if they manage to keep the 8 sticksbalanced without anything falling.
- In Challenge mode, you will also need to successfully place the 3 foam ballson the structure before it collapses. If a stick falls, the challenge is lost and you will have to start over.
